Dancer Information 2010 Summer Student Showcase SIGN-UP DEADLINE: June 25th ENROLL: Students MUST be enrolled for the Summer Session with excellent attendance. In addtion, students must also register for the rehearsal week ($20 per class). ATTENDANCE: Students who miss two or more classes may not participate. Students participating in the Summer Showcase agree to attend the tech rehearsal for their class and the dress rehearsal. LOCATION: Davis Art Center REHEARSAL WEEK: Aug. 23 - Aug. 26 held at the theater. For days & times, see below. DRESS REHEARSAL: Friday, August 27 (Come in costume, with hair & Make-up done.) SHOW: Saturday, August 28 Tentative Schedule for Saturday, Aug. 28 Ticket Information Class Photos Art Days Aug. 23-27 All tech. rehearsals will be held at the theater.
Top Saturday, August 28 Call - 1pm Show - 2:00-3:30pm Call - 5:30 or 6pm Show - 7:00-8:30pm Top Adults (18-54): $4 Adults (55+): $2 Children (17-): FREE Each family will receive two Complimentary Tickets. Tickets will go on sale August 9th and will be available for purchase from both the Woodland Community & Senior Center (M-F 8am 4pm and Sat 9am 5pm), and the Davis Art Center (MTh 9:30am 7pm and Fri 9:30am 5pm). Flash photos and videography of the dress rehearsal and shows are not allowed. You can take non-flash photos if you want. Top Everyone needs to attend our Photo Day on Saturday August 7th in Meeting Room #4 at the Woodland Community Center, 2001 East Street, 95776. Each class will have their own photo time slot (usually 15 minutes to half an hour) between 10:30am and 5:00pm for doing a group picture and, if you wish to order them, individual pictures. Top There are two Art Days from 10:30am to 1:30pm on Saturdays. The first is scheduled for July 24th at the Davis Art Center in Studio C. Our second Art Day is August 7th at the Woodland Community Center in the Art Room. At the Art Days, dancers and their siblings/parents (if they want) make decorations and do art projects for the performance. These Art Days are optional attendance; I will do an RSVP sheet for each Art Day and will hold the Art Day if a minimum of 8 students will be attending. Top |
